Croci & Tree

Here's a public acknowledgement to Dave for reminding me of what I've been trying to push far into the depths of my mind with his previous comment. Thanks, Dave! Hope you go through your share of Kleenex this season, too. :-) I say it with love, of course.

Photographic evidence of my previous assertions from our morning jaunt to the Jefferson-Madison Memorial Library:

Those are tiny crocuses beneath a very blurry daffodil. In real time, he was swaying in the breeze and far less out of focus. But maybe the camera was just capturing how blurry the world seems from my vantage point this week?

Here are the first true blooms of the season, at least that we've seen so far, on a pair of trees at some Confederate-memorial in downtown C'ville across from the library and the Friday morning donut cart. Why we didn't get donuts, I can't fathom, especially now that I'm sitting without them back in the apartment...

In spite of the itchy, sneezy, fuzzy, scratchy, cloggy, exhausted feelings, Spring sure looks beautiful, huh?

  1. Sorry, but I LOVE the summer heat. BD, on the other hand, hates it.
Enjoy the beauty, if not the atmosphere, of the Spring.

  2. Okay, by way of punishment for my joshing with you, we're anticipating a winter storm tonight bringing 6 to 8 inches of snow. I HATE cold and snow.
