We made it through the exhaustive stretch of Rt. 80 across eastern Colorado and Nebraska, and we missed the mountains as soon as we hit the prairie. We're safely nestled into Council Bluffs, Iowa, just across the state line from Omaha, where we plan to stay for a few hours to sleep and clear our mind of corn, cattle, and semi-trucks, just about the only things we saw today.
