Great seasonal news, friends. You can learn how Peeps are made in preparation for dipping yours into chocolate, which, like all the cool kids, I plan to do this weekend. I'll make sure to document every juicy, marshmallowy, sugar-crunching detail.

It's all better than dealing with a flooded apartment, that's for sure. Today's breaking Charlottesville news involved many sopping towels, Don jumping in the car with a wet/dry vac as soon as Ben called with "Emergency," and a still-unidentified washing machine disaster. At this moment, all seems drier, if unplugged, on Jefferson Park Avenue, but I won't soon take for granted the ease of storing my possessions on the floor. Thanks, Don, for coming to the rescue and for taking our wet, dirty laundry back to Keswick with you. And, you know, thanks too for the nice dinner and milkshakes we had last night. That was temporarily overshadowed by the rising tides, but I couldn't forget the vanilla malted shake for too long. ;-)
