While I'm waiting for Ben to finish his novel-length tome-email on health care reform (being sent, obviously, to his parent's next door neighbors!), I'm quickly updating to say: I intend to update tomorrow. ;-) Consider this a placeholder and reminder to myself.
Life this week involved a lot of the Pony Barn, which houses the exciting offices of the curatorial department. I spent my days with spread sheets, databases, and 18th century mercantile records. Fascinating stuff, but not very blog-worthy.

There are better things to blog about, which you can look forward to tomorrow, including our inaugural voyage to the vineyards of central Virginia. Mr. Jefferson lamented his inability to grow grapes here more than two hundred years ago, but that was before horticulturalists uncovered grafting and genetic modification. Today, thanks to science, the area is a hotbed of precision viticulture.

Well, if you are going to dis' screed, how about scrivener? ;-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to watch the NASA doc and sample some good grape!
