Scenes from the Road

Scenes from the Sunday drive back to Virginia excluding images of traffic (because those fall into my official Don't Take Photos of Things You Don't Want to See Again category). The drive involved many taillights and swishing green seas of trees along the road, more podcasts, and shifting boxes in the backseat.

I shall call this one Swirly Sunset Silo

The best part of the slog back was dinner, which consisted of a shared soft pretzel followed an hour later by Sonic ice cream sundaes chasers. I had the banana-fudge with nuts, and am still considering the oddly pleasing, unexpected ways sliced bananas interact with soft-serve. Who knew? Next step: my first official banana split.
