Update

Meg and I are en route to Upstate NY; we got the news early this morning that her paternal grandfather passed away. 

Right now, it seems like moving back East to be near family was a pretty smart call, after all.

We should be with the rest of the family within the next few hours.

As unpleasant as the reasons may be, it feels relieving to have the option of being in touch.
